Meet the Team

Amy Flower

Principal

Amy has been dancing since the age of two training in many syllabi including ISTD AND RAD but decided to train as a teacher with the IDTA. Amy trained at stage school for 11 years taking part in many productions and left at the age of 16 to go on to dance college. After gaining a BTEC diploma in dance she went onto university gaining a BA in dance whilst qualifying as an IDTA teacher. Stepz Dance Academy was then established and she is a fully qualified IDTA teacher in ballet, street, theatre craft, tap and gymnastics. The academy is going from strength to strength maintain a 100 per cent pass rate in exams results. She also teaches in secondary schools (GSCE dance) and is continually training to become an IDTA examiner which is her ultimate goal.

Sue Flower

Receptionist

Sue has been working at the school since it was established. She has a major role in the administration and day to day running of the company. Sue works on reception dealing with orders and payments and is a very valued member of the team, she is very reliable and hardworking and greatly appreciated.

Jennifer Keith aka 
Pixie Le Knot

Acro/Contortionist Teacher

 Jen is a world-class contortionist, handbalancer, and acrobatic roller skater with over 20 years’ experience. She has performed globally on stages from Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage with Years and Years to major film and TV sets, including Game of Thrones, as well as music videos and commercials. She is also a qualified teacher. 

Courteney Goodman

Trainee Teacher

Courteney is currently doing her teachers training at Stepz and is our cover teacher and the academy. She is a very hardworking student gaining excellent results in her exams. She is working on her theatre craft teacher’s examinations which she hopes to qualify in full next year.

Lisa Park

Lisa began dancing at the age of three, training at the Liz Burville Dance Centre in Bexley, Kent. She grew up as a dance and musical theatre performer, developing her skills in singing, dancing, and acting, and spent much of her life performing on stage. Lisa has appeared in numerous professional pantomimes, working alongside many well‑known faces, and performed in musicals including Joseph, Bugsy, and a nationwide tour of Evita. Her performance career also extended to television adverts, fashion shows, and modelling campaigns.

Lisa went on to complete her professional training at the prestigious Bird College in Sidcup. Her passion for teaching was reignited a few years ago when she met Amy, and a close friendship quickly blossomed. Lisa loves supporting Amy and the school by covering classes and teaching. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch the students’ confidence, skills, and abilities develop, and truly loves being part of the beautiful dance school community Amy has created.
